Augmentum Fintech successfully raises a further £55 million

Augmentum Fintech plc the the UK’s only listed specialist fintech investment trust, has raised gross proceeds of £55 million through the issue of 40,590,406 ordinary shares of £0.01 each at an issue price of 135.5p per share by way of the Initial Placing, Open Offer, Offer for Subscription and Intermediaries Offer which was announced on 9th July 2021.
Taking into account both the strong level of support received from potential investors in the Initial Issue and the depth of the Portfolio Manager’s pipeline of investment opportunities, the board determined to increase the size of the Initial Issue to approximately £55 million, from approximately £40 million.
Having produced all annual reports since the inception of Aumentum in 2018, the Perivan shareholder communications team were delighted to work with Peel Hunt who were appointed Joint Sponsor, Joint Bookrunner and Intermediaries Offer Adviser to the share issuance programme which required a 205-page tripartite prospectus containing a Summary, Registration Document and Securities Note, which was successfully published and posted to qualifying shareholders on 17th June 2021.
