A Century of Growth and Income
Originally incorporated in Scotland as Scottish Cities Investment Trust Ltd on 15 January 1926, FGIIT was created to offer investors a diversified portfolio at a time when few such options existed.
Over the decades, the trust has undergone several evolutions in name and focus:
- 1926: Launched as Scottish Cities Investment Trust Ltd
- 1992: Became Finsbury Growth Trust PLC.
- 2004: Adopted the current name Finsbury Growth & Income Investment Trust PLC.
Today, the trust is a well-established FTSE 250 investment company, focused on achieving capital and income growth by investing primarily in the securities of UK quoted companies.
Celebrating 25 Years of Collaboration
