Perivan welcomes World Chess to our annual report portfolio

World Chess plc is an AIM listed London-based chess gaming and entertainment company and International Chess Federation official commercial partner.
The Company’s vision is to build a global, leading intellectual sports brand by reinventing chess for the modern consumer. World Chess intends to do this by becoming the leading platform for the global chess community through online, in person and hybrid chess events and activities, and by providing complementary product offerings to players, spectators, and partners through its ecosystem, which is made up of the following pillars:
FIDE Gaming Platform – World Chess runs FIDE Chess Arena, the exclusive official gaming platform of FIDE and has the official rights to offer its players the official ratings and titles, recognised by FIDE.
Events and Competitions – The Company is experienced in organising events and competitions to promote the sport including the organisation of three World Chess Championship matches.
Recently, World Chess developed and launched the Armageddon Series, the chess league for prime-time television. This high-speed and high-stakes version of the sport is hoped to reinvigorate and reignite passion amongst fans and followers of chess.
Chess Clubs – World Chess also owns and operates the World Chess Club Berlin and is planning to continue to grow its club network. The clubs aim is to modernise the concept to fit more readily into mainstream society and function more as a social and collaborative centre, while simultaneously promoting the game of chess.
Merchandise – World Chess manufactures its own chess sets that have been exclusively used for championship cycle events. Other products include bespoke World Chess branded products such as apparel, books and stationery.
World Chess is headquartered in London with offices in Berlin, Germany and Tbilisi, Georgia where the Company is focused on building a worldwide, intellectual sports brand to reinvent chess for the modern consumer.

The Perivan shareholder communications team was delighted to be appointed to produce their latest annual Report which was successfully produced and posted to shareholders on 31st May 2024.
